B1A16-RKE FOB 7 BATTERY LOW
- When Monitored:
Continuously.
- Set Condition:
When the Wireless Ignition Node (WIN) senses that the RKE transmitter signal is not as strong as it ought to be, this code will set.
TEST FOR INTERMITTENT CONDITION
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, record and erase DTCs
3. Operate the RKE transmitter in all positions several times.
4. With the scan tool, read DTCs.
Does the scan tool display this DTC as active?
Yes
- Replace the RKE transmitter battery and retry the system. If the DTC returns, replace and program the RKE transmitter.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. See: Verification Tests/Body Verification Test
No
