Subject
The brake pedal linkage clip on about 20,000 of the above vehicles, excluding Dodge Ram trucks, may have been manufactured incorrectly. While
some Dodge Ram trucks may not have the clip installed. A defective or missing brake pedal linkage clip could allow the brake booster input rod to
detach from the brake pedal which will result in a loss of the vehicle's service brakes and could cause a crash without warning.
Repair
The brake pedal linkage clip must be replaced on all vehicles except Dodge Ram trucks.
Dodge Ram trucks must be inspected for the presence of the brake pedal linkage clip. Trucks found without the clip must have a new clip installed.
