THIS BULLETIN SUPERSEDES SERVICE BULLETIN 18­010­10, DATED APRIL 9, 2010, WHICH SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM
YOUR FILES. ALL REVISIONS ARE HIGHLIGHTED WITH **ASTERISKS** AND INCLUDE THE ADDITIONAL 2009 MODELS.
THE wiTECH DIAGNOSTIC APPLICATION IS THE PREFERRED METHOD FOR FLASHING ECUs. HELP USING THE wiTECH
DIAGNOSTIC APPLICATION FOR FLASHING AN ECU IS AVAILABLE BY SELECTING "HELP" THEN "HELP CONTENTS" AT THE
TOP OF THE wiTECH DIAGNOSTIC APPLICATION WINDOW.
THE wiTECH SOFTWARE LEVEL MUST BE AT RELEASE 10.03 OR HIGHER TO PERFORM THIS PROCEDURE.
StarMOBILE DESKTOP CLIENT MAY ALSO BE USED TO PERFORM THIS PROCEDURE.

Flash: MIL Illumination P01 3A And/Or P013C
OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves selectively erasing and reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with new software.

NOTE:
**This bulletin applies to all WK and XK vehicles equipped with a 3.7L engine (Sales code EKG) and a NAG1 automatic transmission
(Sales code DGJ) or WK, WH, XK and XH vehicles equipped with a 4.7L engine (Sales code EVE) and a 545RFE automatic
transmission (Sales code DGQ).**
NOTE:
This bulletin applies to all WH vehicles equipped with a 3.7L engine (Sales code EKG) and a NAG1 automatic transmission (Sales
code DGJ). built before March 23, 2010 (MDH 0323XX).
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
The customer may experience a MIL illumination. Upon further investigation the Technician may find that one or all of the following
Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) are present:
1. P013A ­ 02 Sensor 1/2 Slow Response ­ Rich to Lean
2. P013C ­ 02 Sensor 2/2 Slow Response ­ Rich to Lean
Updating the PCM software will correct the conditions listed above.
DIAGNOSIS:
Using a Scan Tool (wiTECH(TM)) with the appropriate Diagnostic Procedures available in TechCONNECT, verify all engine and
transmission systems are functioning as designed. If DTC's are present other then the one's listed above record them on the repair order
and repair as necessary before proceeding further with this bulletin.
If the above condition is present, perform the Repair Procedure.

If this flash process is interrupted/aborted, the flash should be restarted.
1. Reprogram the PCM with the latest software. Follow the detailed service procedures available in DealerCONNECT/TechCONNECT,
Refer To Group 8 ­ Electrical > Electronic Control Modules ­ Service Information > Module ­ Powertrain Control > Standard
Procedures > PCM/ECM Programming ­ Gas.
After PCM reprogramming, the following must be performed:
a. Clear any DTC's that may have been set in other modules due to reprogramming. The wiTECH application will automatically
present all DTCs after the flash and allow the tech to clear them.
2. Type the necessary information on the "Authorized Modification Label and attach it near the VECI label.

POTENTIAL NUMBER OF UNITS AFFECTED: 40131
SUMMARY:
Chrysler is recalling certain model year 2010 Chrysler 300, Dodge Challenger, Charger, Jeep Commander, Grand Cherokee and Dodge
RAM vehicles. These vehicles may have been built with a Wireless Ignition Node (WIN) module exhibiting a binding condition of the
solenoid latch.
CONSEQUENCE:
The result of the defect could lead to a condition where the key may be removed from the Ignition Switch (WIN MODULE) prior to
placing the shifter in park. This could result in the potential for unintended vehicle movement and could increase the risk of a crash.
REMEDY:
Dealers will inspect and replace the WIN Module free of charge. The safety recall is expected to begin during July 2010. Owners may
contact Chrysler at 1­800­853­1403.
